Fotocasa is the leading property portal in Spain, featuring 1.5 million second-hand properties, new home developments, and rental opportunities. Founded in 1999, the portal has 20 years’ experience in helping millions of people find homes around Spain.
Fotocasa is part of Adevinta, a leading company for digital marketplaces and one of the country’s largest technology businesses, with over 18 million users per month on its platforms in the property (Fotocasa and Habitaclia), employment (infojobs.net), vehicles (coches.net and motos.net) and second-hand market (Milanuncios) sectors.
In addition to Spain, Adevinta operates in a further 9 countries in Europe and Latin America. In total, the company’s local platforms welcome an average of 3.0 billion visits every month.
Our goal is to help people live in a home they will be happy in. We believe everyone should be able to search for and inhabit their home comfortably and securely. At Fotocasa, we work to empower and support our users in their property decisions.
At Fotocasa, as part of Adevinta, we combine our know-how with our dream: that everyone has a home to enjoy and live happily. Achieving this dream would be good not only for people, but for society, the economy and the planet we all share.
Every month we draw up the Fotocasa real estate index, a leading report on changes to average house prices in Spain. The index covers both house sales and rental prices, and has been running since 2005. Furthermore, for a number of years the index has counted on a consolidated research department, Fotocasa Research, which analyses changes and trends in the housing sector.
Giving people the confidence to find a home through everything we say and do.
Creating tools, experiences and messages that inspire our users and help them make the right decision at each moment in their lives.
Providing compelling, effortless digital experiences, giving the public what they expect, and all the new things users need.
Supporting society, our users, customers, partners and industry in general.
At Fotocasa we work to offer our users all the tools and information they need, so they feel they are being supported when looking for, selling or renting a property.
We have a catalogue with over 1.5 million properties to buy, rent and for share. It is very easy to use, and has a large number of filters to customise and create your own search.
The portal allows users to contact the landlord directly by email, telephone or through the chat feature, and includes the option to set up alerts if the chosen property drops in price or if similar properties appear for sale or rent in the same area, as well as allowing price offers to be sent to the advertiser.
In addition, the portal has a mortgage comparator to see the different mortageg options in the market.
The product sheet includes detailed information and there are extensive image galleries, videos and even virtual tours. Users can enjoy additional services such as an interactive map where they can see the location of a property and nearby services (such as hospitals and schools), as well as a mortgage comparison calculator and help in obtaining the property's energy certificate.
Fotocasa’s app on Google Play and in the App Store lets you find an apartment any time, anywhere.
Every month we analyse the market and produce studies that allow us to understand the property sector and how it is evolving. Numerous media channels report Fotocasa’s studies and research:
